The SeaWheeze Half Marathon is 21.1km (13.1 miles) of breathtaking scenery, salty ocean air, high fives, and Vancouver vibes happening on August 15, 2020—we’ll warn you now that SeaWheeze weekend is about so much more than a race.  When you arrive in Vancouver, you can pick up your runner’s package in Coal Harbour at the impressive Vancouver Convention Centre. While you’re there, be sure to grab some exclusive, limited-edition swag at the SeaWheeze Showcase Store then get the weekend started with a yoga session at the PreWheeze Party.  And the party doesn’t stop there (obviously). The much anticipated SeaWheeze Sunset Festival will be held in Vancouver’s crown jewel: Stanley Park. There’s no better way to cap off a wild and crazy weekend than by dancing in nature to the tune of an ocean breeze and some killer music. https://www.seawheeze.com/content/seawheeze/index/run/about.html

The festival on Sunday, 16 August 2020 has full marathon, half marathon, and 10km, 5km & 2km fun run events. Located on the stunning Sunshine Coast, just an hour’s drive north of Brisbane, this not-for-profit event is timed to make the most of the ideal Queensland winter running conditions, running along the coastline of Alexandra Headlands. https://www.sunshinecoastmarathon.com.au

This 7-mile course is nearly completely seaside, beginning in Woods Hole with the first three miles on narrow, hilly, winding and tree-shaded roads. The most iconic part, according to the race’s general manager Jennifer Edwards, comes right after mile one when runners pass Nobska Light, a picturesque, historic lighthouse perched on the southwestern tip of Cape Cod and overlooking Martha’s Vineyard and the Elizabeth Islands. The final four miles open up on the flat right alongside Martha’s Vineyard Sound, where a small steep hill indicates the final half-mile of the race. As runners crest the hill, they’ll see a giant American flag flying overhead, and they can see themselves cross the finish on the JumboTron. From there, the race is all downhill to the finish along Falmouth Heights Beach. General Registration opens May 8, 2020 at 9:00 AM – May 17, 2020 at 11:59 PM Registration

Bridge to Brisbane Day is the day to celebrate what makes Brisbane special. We get together to show our big heart by running for charity in the morning. Then get together with the ones we love in the afternoon to enjoy all that’s wonderful about living in Brisbane. It’s a natural human trait to feel that a good and healthy deed in the morning earns you good times for the rest of the day – Bridge to Brisbane Day acknowledges and encourages that feeling. You are invited to join in the 5km or 10km course. Stay tuned for more details on this event. Sign up to our newsletter for event updates.

Set in the stunning surroundings of Denbies Vineyard near Dorking the Bacchus Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K have rapidly become must-do events on the UK running calendar.  Most of the field turn out in fancy dress, there are numerous bands playing around the course but it’s the drinks station on route that separates Bacchus from other running races and epitomise the spirit of the event. You will have the chance to sample six fabulous English wines, at five drinks stations along the course with two wines served at the last station, with food and soft drinks to accompany them. If you are running the marathon you go around twice which means 12 wines!
