Preparations for the annual Königsschlösser Romantic Marathon are well underway and the first registrations have already fluttered through our letterbox. The Königsschlösser Romatic Marathon hosted in the East Allgäu – one of the most attractive and prettiest regions in the whole of Bavaria – is a unique run. This was confirmed once again by the run staged this year: over 800 runners went under starter’s orders in Füssen on a day with the most perfect weather conditions. Some three kilometres later, with the town left far behind, the runners could look forward to the rest of the run through the most beautiful countryside imaginable: across the Hopfer forest, round Lake Hopfensee, across the floodplain of the river Lech along the banks of Lake Forggensee, across lush green meadows and past the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, through the Schwansee woodlands and on to the final sprint for the town again. The Khmer Empire Full & Half Marathon, organized by Cambodia Event Organizer, is the second edition of this recent event located in Siem Reap in north-western Cambodia. Distances of 3 Km, 10.5 Km, 21.1 Km and the full marathon distance of 42.195 Km are available. Khmer Empire Full and Half Marathon is held at one of the most famous heritages in the world. Angkor literally means ‘Capital City’, in its modern usage Angkor has come to refer to the capital city of the Khmer Empire that existed in the area of Cambodia between the 9th and 12th centuries. The Sunshine Coast Marathon & Community Run Festival is a member of the Association of International Marathons & Road Races (AIMS) and is one of the most-loved running festivals in Australia.  Since its inception, the Sunshine Coast Marathon has raised over $1.6 million for charity and community groups. Knarvikmila is Norway’s most magnificent running event. This year, KnarvikMila takes place at the beginning September. KnarvikMila is more than one race and more than a single distance. It is also more than a sports event. This is a week filled with cultural and sports events. See our programme for more information and take a look at our different distances. KnarvikMila was founded in 1982 by initiator and enthusiast Helge Brekke and is arranged by the athletic association FIL-AKS77. Since 1982, thousands of feet have run along roads and tracks in Knarvik for a week every autumn. In 2022, 500 volunteers worked to create a memorable event for 6000 participants. Without a group of volunteers extending far beyond the members of the athletic association it would be impossible to pull off the event that KnarvikMila has become: a whole week of activities including a conference, concerts and trade fair. The course of Helsingborg Marathon was born with an idea of showing as much as possible of the beautiful city of Helsingborg. The towns city area but is filled with blinding views and fantastic spots. The course is unique in every  way with varying environment and highlights on a 42.195 meter long course. The course includes 2 unique kilometers for the half marathon before connecting to the marathon course at Karnan. The course has about 180 meters in altitude difference with a hill up to Karnan after 3 kilometers and a long descent towards the ocean after 18 kilometers. The Rimi Vilnius Marathon is an annual city marathon, held in Vilnius, Lithuania. First introduced in 2001 as 10k race it evolved to a classic marathon in 2004. The half marathon was introduced in 2006. The Rimi Vilnius Marathon is AIMS certified since 2007. It is one of the fastest growing marathons in the Baltics and the biggest running festival in Lithuania. 2024 is going to be a weekend of running celebrations as we celebrate our 12th anniversary! GoFundMe Richmond RUN-FEST in south west London, consists of 4 different distanced events, 10,000 runners, a music stage and a fitness expo. We are known for our amazing male & female cut tech T-shirts and our chunky triangle medals. We have the privilege to start our Richmond Half Marathon and Richmond marathon inside the beautiful Kew Gardens as well as hosting the Richmond RUN-FEST 10K that offers runners an amazing performance enhancing musical tour guide, completely within the Royal Botanical Gardens. As part of our 2012 Olympic legacy pledge, we organise a series of kids mile races for over 1,000 kids at Old Deer Park followed by our fun Visit Cayman Islands SUNDOWN 5K run and after-party.
