A Marathon with mountain flavors between the towns of Bourg-Saint-Maurice and Seez. A double loop of 21,097KM, the race follows small paved country roads, in a wooded, green and shaded setting. The course is hilly with small hills along the cycle path which runs along the Isère on loan of 10KM. Course details Course profile Hilly Course surface Mixed Course highlights The Marathon Des Alpes : a loop course that will leave from the Funicular to follow the greenway towards Villaroger before reaching the central point of Bourg Saint Maurice. Then through the tree-lined paths of the Tarentaise, the runners will reach the Kayak base and the plain before Landry. The return will be done by the magnificent greenway which runs along the Isère for 5km before finishing this race in Bourg st Maurice. The race follows small paved country roads, in a wooded, pleasant, green and shaded setting. The course is hilly with small hills. This race is suitable for experienced and trained runners. Half Marathon – A distance that offers the perfect opportunity to set a new personal record. 10 km – A challenging yet manageable distance, perfect for seasoned runners looking to push their limits. 5 km – An excellent chance for beginners and casual runners to take their first steps into the world of marathons.   Course highlights The marathon (42.195 km) takes place on a 21.1 km circuit around the Eschenberg. The Brisbane City Botanic Gardens will be the main hub for the marathon, with the expo village, start and finish lines, and registration all taking place there. Brisbane Marathon runners will have a two-lap course to enjoy the sights of Brisbane, from the City Centre to the Story Bridge and the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and New Farm. The Aabenraa Mountain Marathon starts in the city’s beautiful center, more specifically at the big square Storetorv, from which the new exciting routes go. The routes are a combination of the hills in the beautiful countryside around Aabenraa as well as through the city center, with the pedestrian zone and the old town. Storetorv is the center of the running party and this year is no exception. In the center there will be big screens, party atmosphere and a long red-carpet run into the finish area, so you can be helped all the way to the finish! In goal, you run directly into the arms of one of our sweet volunteers who is ready with this year’s great medal! The Sunshine Coast Marathon & Community Run Festival is a member of the Association of International Marathons & Road Races (AIMS) and is one of the most-loved running festivals in Australia.  Since its inception, the Sunshine Coast Marathon has raised over $1.6 million for charity and community groups. Located on the stunning Sunshine Coast, Queensland an hour’s drive north of Brisbane this event has been timed to make the most of the ideal Queensland winter running conditions. Blue skies, low humidity and mild temperatures combined with a flat course always enable fast times. Event distances include the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and the 2km. Each road race follows the stunning coastline of Alexandra Headland with white sandy beaches and spectacular vantage points alongside the ocean.
